The short version. This site explains what we are building and lets you join a waiting list. It sells nothing, takes no money, and nothing on it is an offer. Nothing here is veterinary advice. If you are worried about your dog, ring your vet.

2. By using this site

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may change them, and if we do, the date at the top changes.

3. What this site is, and what it is not

This site exists to explain what FetchSense is building and to let you join a waiting list. It is information, not an offer.

We are not selling anything on this site. There is no basket and no way to pay us. Any price shown is indicative of what we expect to charge at launch, and nothing here is an offer to sell or an invitation to buy.
The product is not finished. Everything on this site describes work in progress. What we build may change — in specification, in appearance, in what it does, and in whether a particular feature exists at all.
The waiting list is not an order. Joining it does not reserve anything, does not guarantee you a collar, does not fix a price and does not create any contract or obligation on either side. You can leave at any time.
No date is a promise. If we ever publish a launch date, treat it as an intention rather than a commitment.

4. This is not veterinary or medical advice

Nothing on this website is veterinary advice, medical advice or a diagnosis, and nothing we build is a medical or veterinary device. If you are worried about your dog, ring your vet. Diagnosing an animal is an act of veterinary surgery under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and it belongs to a vet who has examined your dog.

5. This is not training advice for your particular dog

Anything we write about behaviour or training is general information. It is force-free and reward-based, and it is not a substitute for a suitably qualified professional who has met your dog. If your dog is frightened, is hurting somebody, or is at risk, get qualified help in person.

6. Accuracy

We try hard to make sure everything on this site is accurate and evidenced, and we keep a written claims register for exactly that reason. We do not promise the site is complete, error-free or always up to date, and we may change or remove anything on it at any time. If you spot something wrong, please tell us at info@fetchsense.co.uk — we would genuinely rather know.

7. Our content

Everything on this site — text, images, designs, logos and the FetchSense name — belongs to FetchSense Ltd or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other rights.

You may read it, print it and share links to it. You may quote short extracts if you say where they came from. You may not copy the site, republish it, sell it, or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you or your product, without asking us first.

"Patent pending" refers to UK patent application GB2505663.1. A pending application is not a granted patent.

8. Using this site properly

Please do not misuse the site — no attempting to break into it, no introducing anything malicious, no scraping it wholesale, no using it in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else's use of it. Doing any of that may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990, and we would report it.

9. Links to other sites

Where we link to somebody else's website, we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement.

10. Where we stand on liability, plainly

We are not going to write a wall of exclusions, partly because it would be unpleasant to read and partly because much of it would not bind you anyway. The honest position:

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. That is Consumer Rights Act 2015 s.65(1)–(2), and it applies to a consumer notice like this one exactly as it applies to a contract.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Beyond that, this is a free, informational website that sells nothing. We ask you not to rely on it to make a decision about your dog's health, safety or whereabouts, and to that extent we do not accept responsibility for loss arising from relying on it.
If any part of these terms turns out not to be binding, the rest still applies.

11. Your information and cookies

How we handle your information is in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.

12. Complaints, and getting hold of us

Email info@fetchsense.co.uk. We read everything that comes in. We are a very small company, so a reply can take a while. If your complaint is about how we have handled your personal information, the procedure is in the Privacy Notice, and you can go to the ICO at any point.

13. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in your own country's courts — nothing here takes that right away.
